Information We Collect

Cookies & Consent

This site uses a consent bar with Accept and Deny options. Your choice is saved in a small cookie so the site can remember it for one year.

  • Necessary cookies: required for the site to function, such as WooCommerce cart and session handling, basic security, remembering your consent choice, and fraud prevention by Stripe during checkout.
  • Optional features: your choice also controls visit statistics, described below. Clicking Deny switches them off.

You can change your choice at any time using the small icon in the bottom corner of every page.

Visit Statistics

This site keeps its own private log of page views, to understand which works and pages people look at and to recognise automated traffic. A small script on each page records:

  • Your IP address
  • Country and approximate city, derived from your IP address
  • The pages you view and how long each page stays open
  • Browser, operating system and device type
  • The website that referred you, if any
  • Date and time of the visit

This log does not use tracking cookies. It is stored only on this site’s server and is automatically deleted after 30 days. To determine approximate location, your IP address is sent to an external IP geolocation service. It is not shared with anyone else, and it is never used for advertising or profiling.

The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest: understanding how the site is used and keeping it secure. If you click Deny on the consent bar, no further visits are recorded, and the record of your current visit is deleted.

WooCommerce & Purchases

When you place an order or create an account, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Billing and shipping address
  • Phone number (optional)

This information is used solely to process and fulfil your order and to provide customer support. We do not sell or share this data, except where necessary to complete transactions, such as with our payment provider.

Newsletter

You may optionally subscribe to updates through a sign-up form managed by Kit. Only your email address is required. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used only where necessary:

  • To process orders and provide customer support
  • To operate and maintain the website securely
  • To understand which pages and works visitors view
  • To send newsletters, if you have opted in

We do not use your data for profiling or targeted advertising.

Analytics

This site does not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking or marketing tools. Visit statistics are self-hosted and described above under Visit Statistics.

  • HTTPS encryption across the entire site
  • Limited access to personal data
  • Use of trusted third-party services only where necessary

No system is completely secure, but industry-standard safeguards are in place.

Third-Party Services

We use a minimal set of third-party services:

  • Stripe: secure payment processing. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store them. Stripe may set cookies on checkout pages to prevent fraud.
  • Kit: email newsletter management.
  • IP geolocation service: determines approximate location from IP addresses for visit statistics.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Change or withdraw your consent choice at any time
  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time
